Upgrade Now Available for 2011, 2012 XC60, S60 and XC70 T6

A newly published analysis from the Highway Loss Data Institute (HLDI) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) indicates that Volvo XC60s get into fewer low-speed crashes than comparable vehicles thanks to Volvo's City Safety technology, a standard feature on all XC60s.

The 2011 Volvo XC60 luxury crossover has been awarded NHTSA's highest rating - 5 stars - for frontal and side impact collisions. The 2011 Volvo XC60 is the most recent Volvo vehicle to be acknowledged by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) as a Top Safety Pick.

Volvo Cars of North America, LLC (VCNA), announced the addition of Protection Plus+, a factory scheduled maintenance package, to its already robust Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) warranty program. IntelliChoiceTM recently named Volvo's the "best Premium Certified Pre-Owned program for 2011," marking the fourth consecutive year the CPO program has been awarded this honor.

Volvo's hot new S60 sport sedan continues to impress the pundits with the announcement of its powerful T6 engine being lauded as one of Ward's 10 Best Engines for 2011.

As of the end of November 2010, the Volvo XC60 can be specified with the new Pedestrian Detection with Full Auto Brake safety system. At the same time, the XC60 gets the new infotainment system that has been introduced in the Volvo S60 sport sedan.
