James Hope has been appointed Product Communications Manager of Volvo Cars of North America. In his new position, James will act as media liaison for product and technical inquiries, promote and assist in new-vehicle launches and coordinate the distribution of news releases to a wide range of media outlets.
James comes to the position after spending six years at Road & Track magazine (1994-2000) where he was feature editor of the magazine's special interest publications. Prior to joining Volvo, James was in charge of internal communications and management of the media website at Kia Motors America, Inc.
As a graduate of Cal State University Fullerton, James holds a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations.
