ROCKLEIGH, N.J. (Nov. 3, 2010) - Volvo Cars of North America, LLC, (VCNA) reported U.S. sales of 3,996 units, a 9.9 percent decrease from October 2009. Year-to-date sales are down 11.8 percent over the first ten months of 2010.
In Canada, Volvo sales were up 14.2 percent in October with a total of 434 vehicles sold. Year-to-date sales are up 5.5 percent in Canada.
The all-new 2011 S60 T6 sports sedan went on sale at the end of September and looks to bolster Volvo's sales during the fourth quarter. A major volume contributor for VCNA, the all-new S60 with available Pedestrian Detection with Full Auto Brake, dynamic handling characteristics and stunning design carries a base price of just $37,700*.
