Volvo Cars of North America Announces Appointments to
U.S. National and Regional Sales Posts
Veteran Volvo executives, Bill Gaudreau and Chris Ruocco, Assume New Roles
IRVINE, CA (June 21, 2005) – Volvo Cars of North America, LLC (VCNA) announces that Bill Gaudreau has been named Vice President, National Sales. In this role, Gaudreau will direct the regional management teams, commercial sales and strategies to achieve holistic business results in the field and at the retailer level.

With over 22 years of experience at Volvo, Gaudreau brings to National Sales an extensive background in both corporate and the field organization. He has served in most regions of the country and in critical positions, including his most recent assignment as Regional Vice President in Volvo's Western Region of the United States.
Gaudreau will collaborate with Retailer Operations and Network, Incentives/Distribution to ensure the optimization of business opportunities, with a focus on enhancing vehicle sales and other critical performance indicators. Both the Regional Vice Presidents and Commercial Sales organizations will report to Gaudreau.
In another strategic move, Chris Ruocco has been appointed Vice President, Retailer Operations. In this function, Chris will oversee the development and execution of strategies and policies for retailer training, retailer recognition programs and customer satisfaction strategies.
Interfacing closely with National Sales, Network and Customer Service, Chris will focus on the key elements necessary to improve retailer and customer-facing initiatives for sustainable long term business success.
During his 26 years of experience, steeped in Volvo culture, Ruocco brings to this position a diverse background showing leadership in key aspects of the business, including his current position as Regional Vice President of Volvo's Northern Region.

Gaudreau and Ruocco will both report to Anne Bélec, effective July 1, 2005.
