Having a new Volvo XC40 will be as hassle free as having a mobile phone
(ROCKLEIGH, N.J.) Volvo Cars is inventing a new model of car access with the launch of the new Volvo XC40 and the new ‘Care by Volvo’ subscription service. This will make having a car as transparent, easy and hassle free as having a phone: a national, flat-rate monthly fee, combined with getting a new car as early as 12 months in the program.
The negotiation free process starts with an online order. Care by Volvo customers will be able to drive away in a new Volvo without having to worry about the traditional extras such as down payments, maintenance and insurance.
“This is simple and clear, everything but fuel is basically included in one flat rate,” said Lex Kerssemakers, President & CEO of Volvo Car USA, “This is the next step toward making life less complicated for customers.”
Care by Volvo debuts on the new XC40 and will be offered alongside traditional purchase and lease options. Other Volvo models will be included over time, as will new digital concierge services. Full details and pricing for Care by Volvo in the U.S. will be announced at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show. Customers will be able to order through Care by Volvo at that time.
