IRVINE, CA (April 1, 2008) - Volvo Cars of North America, LLC (VCNA) reports sales of 9,263 units in the United States* for the month, representing a decrease of 13.2 percent compared to the same period last year.
Overall in North America (United States, Canada and Mexico), Volvo sales were down 18.1 percent for the month, with 9,829 units sold. March sales in Canada and Mexico were 465 units (down 54.8 percent) and 101 units (down 67.1 percent) respectively.
Volvo Cars of North America, LLC (VCNA) is a subsidiary of Volvo Car Corporation of Göteborg, Sweden. VCNA provides marketing, sales, parts, service, technology and training support to Volvo automobile retailers in the United States, and oversees Volvo operations in Canada and Mexico.
