At the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, Volvo Cars invited media to the world premiere of the Volvo Concept Estate – the third and final of three concept cars that showcase the company’s future design direction. Inside the Concept Estate, Volvo Cars showcased its new user interface as well as a newly announced partnership with Apple Inc. for the roll-out of Apple CarPlay. Speakers at the press conference were Håkan Samuelsson, President & CEO; Peter Mertens, Senior Vice President Research and Development. The press conference also featured a special appearance by Greg Joswiak, VP at Apple Inc, who thanked Volvo Cars "for choosing to be a leader in rolling out Apple CarPlay".
