Volvo Car UK has sustained its exceptional new car sales performance through the first half of 2019, selling 29,989 units. The total marks an impressive 27% increase in sales volume on the same period last year and keeps the company on course to meet its target of 60,000 annual sales by 2020.
Volvo Cars started 2019 on a strong note after the company posted a 16.7 per cent growth in global sales for January, compared with the same period last year, as all the key regions of the US, China and Europe contributed to the increase.

Volvo Cars reported a new record in global annual sales as 2018 volumes rose by 13.5 per cent to 582,096 cars for the January-to-November period, compared with 513,055 cars in the same period last year.
Volvo Cars has maintained a strong sales momentum in September, with global sales rising 12.9 per cent, compared with the same period last year. The company sold 60,622 cars during the month, as sales grew in all its key regions of the US, China and Europe.
