The new Volvo EX90 we revealed towards the end of last year represents a firm stake in the ground for our transformation towards becoming a pure electric car brand by 2030.
You’ve slept through your alarm. The birds aren’t yet chirping, the neighbourhood is still, and the pitch-black morning hardly beckons you to start the day. But as you step inside your car, a hint of sunshine greets you, turning an everyday commute into a ritual that lights up your day.
In our upcoming Volvo EX90, lidar, cameras and radars come together to understand your car’s surroundings and help keep you safe. To further improve our assisted-driving technologies and eventually reach autonomous driving in the future, we also need a way to recognise your environment at detail – both immediately in front of you and at longer distances beyond the twists and turns ahead.
The new Volvo EX90 is more than just a car. Revealed to the world in downtown Stockholm today, it’s not just the most advanced Volvo car we have ever created – it’s your entry ticket to a wider ecosystem of services and features that can make your life easier, more enjoyable and allow you to reap the full benefits of going all-electric.
A true seven-seater, all-electric SUV that further raises our standards in safety and a more sustainable lifestyle: the new Volvo EX90 represents the start of a new era for our company in which we set a decisive course for a fully electric future.
The Volvo EX90 will be revealed on 9 November 2022 at 14:00 UK time (15:00 CET) during a special event in central Stockholm. The reveal will also be livestreamed.
In every Volvo car, form, function and technical innovation are in perfect harmony. This is especially true for our upcoming fully electric Volvo EX90.
If you’ve ever asked a phone or computer “What do you want me to do?” with a tinge of despair in your voice, you know how confusing it can be when communication with a piece of technology breaks down.
How do you translate values into materials? And what does luxury mean in the world of today? Those were some of the questions facing our designers as they got to work on the interior of our forthcoming Volvo EX90 all-electric flagship SUV.
