Double podium finish for the Volvo S60 in Belgian Touring Car Series

On the track of Dijon in France Vincent Radermecker and Eric van de Poele had their first
taste of champagne in their 2010 campaign. In both races of the BTCS Championship Volvo
S60 Racing finished on the podium. A promising result for the rest of the season.

Eric van de Poele and Vincent Radermecker were obviously right when they stated, only a few
moment after driving the Volvo S60 for the first time, that this car would lead them to great results.
This Saturday the drivers of Volvo S60 Racing managed a double podium finish on the French
track of Dijon.

"Before the start of the weekend I would have signed with both hands for this result", Vincent
Radermecker smiled. "We finished third in race one, but honestly, we could not have done better.
In race two we were beaten by a team who took a risky tyre choice, but it worked out for them in
the end. Hats off to them."

"Our car still needs some improvements in the set-up", stated Eric van de Poele. "After all, it's only
at the beginning of its racing career. But the fact that it marvelled in the rain and that we could
lead for a long time in the wet proves it has undeniable road holding qualities. Not bad for a car
that has to compete in a championship in a country where it is known to rain once in a while."

"A perfect result", added team manager Thomas Neri. "Just in time to boost moral in our team,
only a couple of weeks before the highlight of the BTCS championship, the 12 Hours of Spa at the
beginning of June."
