TORONTO, ON (July 3, 2012) - Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. reported sales of 618 units in June for a six-month total of 3,431 units, down slightly from the first six months of 2011 which recorded sales of 3,657. The top sellers continued to be the XC60 premium crossover and S60 sport sedan, which sold 173 and 144 units respectively in May.
"The innovative and dynamic designs of both the XC60 and S60 continue to resonate well with the Canadian buyers of premium vehicles," says Brad Painter, National Marketing Manager, Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. "The introduction of the S60 T5 AWD will only increase this appetite for the critically-acclaimed Scandinavian sport sedan."
