Volvo Car Canada Ltd. Reports January Sales Results

  • Volvo Car Canada overall sales up 6.7 percent over January 2021
  • Recharge models (EV and PHEV) represented 29.7 percent of total January sales nationwide
  • Volvo Car Canada reported overall sales of 575 vehicles in January 2022

 

RICHMOND HILL, ON (Wednesday, February 2, 2022) – Volvo Car Canada Ltd. is pleased to report its sales results for January: a total of 575 vehicles were retailed throughout the month, for an increase of 6.7 percent when compared to January of 2021.

 

Demand for Volvo’s exciting lineup of plug-in hybrid and pure electric SUVs remained strong in January, with electrified powertrains accounting for 29.7 percent of all new vehicle sales for the brand in Canada.    

 

Certified by Volvo, Volvo Car Canada’s pre-owned division, retailed a total of 199 units for the month of January.
