Volvo Car Canada Ltd. Announces Alex Préfontaine as Regional Operations Manager, Eastern Region

 

RICHMOND HILL, ON. (November 18th, 2016.) Alex Préfontaine has been appointed Regional Operations Manager, Eastern Region for Volvo Car Canada Ltd. effective November 7th, 2016.

 

In this role Alex will be responsible for leading the Regional Sales Operations for the 12 retailers in the Province of Québec and Ottawa area.  Alex will be responsible for working with retailers and their respective teams to develop and implement sales and market building strategies to ensure achievement of retail sales, market share and customer satisfaction objectives.  He will also be responsible for counselling and coordination of the Retailer Advertising Group, regional marketing, promotions and special events.

 

Alex joins Volvo Canada with over 14 years of professional experience, starting his career with BMW, then having assignments with Mazda and most recently Mercedes-Benz where he was Regional Sales Operations Manager for Eastern Region. 

 

Alex holds a Bachelor degree in Business and Marketing Management from Northwood University.
