All-New Polestar Pricing Announced in Canada

 

RICHMOND HILL, ON. (July 5th, 2016.) Volvo Car Canada Ltd. has announced pricing for the 2017 S60 & V60 Polestars. The S60 Polestar is priced at $67,050, the V60 Polestar is priced at $69,000 with each vehicle featuring an all-new, modified, version of the award-winning Drive-E powertrain. Each Polestar vehicle is fully loaded with no option packages available, offering an all-in-one pricing package of high performance.

 

The Polestar vehicles offer advancements in both power and precision. At the heart of the vehicles is a 2.0 litre T6 twin-charged Drive-E engine, boasting 367 horsepower and 347 lb.-ft of torque. The V60 sprints from 0-100km/h in 4.8 seconds and the S60 in 4.7 seconds.  Both vehicles are powered by a BorgWarner four-wheel drive system and an optimized Polestar eight-speed Geartronic automatic gearbox.

 

The S60 & V60 Polestar ensure that the driver is in total control with all-new Polestar calibrated electro-assisted power steering, 20” rims and new slotted brake discs. Additional specifications include: new connecting rods, new camshafts, a larger air intake and high capacity fuel pump.

 

Globally, 1000 units of the S60 & V60 Polestar will be produced and will be available in 34 markets. The 2017 Polestar vehicles will be available in Canada September, 2016.
