TORONTO, ON (May. 1, 2014) - Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. reported April new vehicle sales of 343 units, an 18.1 percent decrease from the previous month and a 28 percent decrease from April 2013. April Certified Pre-owned (CPO) sales totalled 125 units, a 31.5 percent increase over March 2014.
The top performers for the month among new vehicles were the XC60 premium crossover selling 124 units and the new-to-Canada V60 Sportswagon, which sold 84 units during the month of April bringing year-to-date sales to 244 units since going on sale in January.
“The initial response to the V60 Sportswagon and the technologically advanced family of powerful yet fuel efficient Drive-E four-cylinder engines have been very positive,” says Marc Engelen, President & CEO, Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. “We look forward to continuing this momentum with the availability of the new Polestar S60 and V60 in the next few months.”
