When we launched Volvo on Call back in 2001, the notion of connected cars was a new one. These days, cars are like computers on wheels and our connected car platform remains a trailblazer. Features in Volvo on Call include modern classics such as pre-heating your car on a cold winter’s day, finding your car on a massive parking lot and remote locking and unlocking.


The next generation of connectivity and connected services promises to continue this focus on convenience and ease-of-use, further developing the way consumers interact with their car. Already now, Volvo drivers can have items ordered online delivered into their car. Other services include a pick-up and return service by your Volvo dealer, having your car refuelled or recharged while you are at work, and sharing your car with a friend or family member without handing over a physical key.
