VOLVO CAR CORPORATION'S FUTURE FOCUS IN THE 2008/2009 CORPORATE REPORT WITH SUSTAINABILITY

Volvo Car Corporation's 2008/2009 Corporate Report is now available and features a comprehensive description of its operations combined with in depth sustainability reporting. The approach to sustainable business in this years Report is illustrated using three focus areas - Safety, Environmental Care and Profitability - each section includes key figures and results from the past year as well as describing the vision for the future.

Although Volvo Car Corporation has published seven previous reports in the area of sustainability, the scope has now been broadened to include a full corporate description of Volvo Cars.

"For us sustainability is an integral part of our business and cannot be seen as an isolated focus area. I believe that it is more important than ever before to work proactively with sustainability issues and demonstrate tangible results" says Stephen Odell, President and CEO of Volvo Car Corporation.

Recurring themes in the Corporate Report are the significance of cooperation and partnerships, as well as the importance of Volvo Cars' employees and team work to be successful.
