Meeting for Volvo enthusiasts

 

The VROM meeting, the veteran car club for Volvo enthusiasts, starts today on 10 August 2007. Visitors are coming to Göteborg, Olofström and Uddevalla (cities in the south and south-west of Sweden) from all over Europe.

 

VROM (Volvo Rendezvous for Owners & Members) is a three day international meeting for the owners of classic Volvo cars, yearly organized in Göteborg since 1987. This years meeting, going on 10-12 of August, also includes visits to production units Uddevalla and Olofström.

From these towns respectively, to the Arendal area in Göteborg, a veteran rally is arranged during Saturday.

Exhibition day with international Volvo Meet and Spare Parts Market takes place on Sunday 12 August in Arendal. This is also where the Volvo Museum is situated.

Lex Kerssemakers, Senior Vice President, Brand, Business & Product Strategy, gives words of welcome. VROM is open also for non members and admission is free.

Some 3,000 visitors are awaited from Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, the Czech Republic, France, Lithuania, Denmark, Norway, Poland, UK, Italy and Sweden.
