RICHMOND HILL, ON (Wednesday, July 5, 2023) – Volvo Car Canada Ltd. reports sales results for June: a total of 1,206 vehicles were retailed throughout the month, for an increase of 28 percent over the same month last year. Year-to-date, the company has sold a total of 5,656 vehicles in Canada, representing an increase of 9.3 percent when compared to the same time last year.
These results were bolstered by sales of Volvo’s in demand lineup of Recharge models – those with pure electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains – which accounted for 25 percent of overall sales for the month.
Volvo Car Canada’s pre-owned division, Certified by Volvo, retailed a total of 350 units for the month, up 13 percent compared with the same month last year.
