New dummy enhances active safety

Volvo Car's new crash test dummy Bob. Bob is working as pedestrian dummy to help the engineers to develop preventative safety systems. Volvo will introduce a new auto braking function in 2010, a Pedestrian Safety feature that will detect and give an audible and visual signal to warn the driver if he/she is about to drive into a human. If the driver does not react the vehicle will auto brake.
