    Volvo Car USA reported its eighth straight month of sales increases in the U.S. with 9,194 vehicles sold in August, an increase of 2.5 percent from the same period last year. Year-to-date VCUSA has sold 68,109 vehicles, an increase of 4.4 percent from the previous year.
    Care by Volvo, the national flat-rate, all-inclusive vehicle subscription program from Volvo Cars, now offers the popular XC90, XC60 and V60 Cross Country models alongside the S60 sedan and XC40 compact SUV.
    The all-new Volvo S60/V60 luxury sedan and wagon, along with the XC40 small luxury SUV, are finalists for the prestigious 2019 World Car Awards. It could mean two in a row for Volvo as the XC60 luxury SUV was named 2018 World Car of the Year.
    A wide variety of auto experts have presented Volvo Cars with five more awards, adding to a winning streak unprecedented in the luxury carmaker’s almost century-long history.
    Five Volvo cars, including all of the luxury carmaker’s SUVs and two of its wagons, earned Car and Driver Editors’ Choice awards for 2019.
