The competition is one of the world's leading events devoted to the selection and recognition of outstanding business, television, documentary, industrial, information, and entertainment productions with 1,500 entries received from 33 countries.

Five Gold Camera accolades went to three films, two of which features the Volvo XC90, the company's first SUV scheduled for release this fall. "Her Own Way," a vehicle identity/spirit of adventure production won the Meeting Presentation and Corporate Image category, while "The Next Generation SUV" took top honors for Meeting Openers. All films were produced by Dockhouse Films, based in Gothenburg, Sweden. The company MFX provided animations and KB-film supplied crash test sequences.

The US International Film - & Video Festival awards were presented at a ceremony in Manhattan Beach, California, on June 7th.

The festival is one of two international competitions operated under the auspices of the United States Festival Association.
