Thomas Forsman is the head of Aftersales for Volvo Cars in North America. He assumed these responsibilities in September of 2001. In addition to his Aftersales role, Forsman also serves as General Manager for VCNA Rockleigh Operations.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Forsman served as the Chief Financial Officer for Volvo Cars Japan and Managing Director of the Business Support Center for the Premier Automotive Group, Japan Inc.
Mr. Forsman began his Volvo career in 1984 as Manager of Budget and Cost Accounting with AB Volvo Penta. In 1992, he joined Volvo Penta Japan Corporation and shortly thereafter assumed the position of Executive Vice President, Finance and Administration, a position he held until 1995 when he became the Chief Financial Officer for Volvo Cars Japan.
Mr. Forsman graduated from the University of Gothenberg in 1979 with a degree in Business Administration. A native of Sweden, Thomas is married to Anita. They have two children, Jens and Andrea.
