In October 2013, Scott Doering was promoted to vice president, customer service responsible for leading VCUSA's strategies in customer service and supporting parts and service business at Volvo retail stores. Prior to this role, Doering was vice president, northern region.
Doering joined VCNA in 1993, serving in several different regional specialist roles, later assuming the market manager position for the Denver market area before moving to Chicago in 2003 to take the role of regional sales and marketing manager for Volvo's central region.
In 2007, Doering moved to VCUSA's corporate headquarters to become the manager for business and brand strategy, responsible for aligning brand, product, network and sales functions to meet Volvo's short and long-term objectives. The following year, Doering was appointed to manager for commercial sales, responsible for all non-retailer sales channels, including the Overseas Delivery Program, rental car sales, commercial fleet sales, corporate fleet management, certified pre-owned program sales and vehicle remarketing.
A native of Baraboo, Wis., Doering graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a bachelor of science degree in geography and a professional business minor in marketing. Doering is married with two children.
