Customer Service, Volvo Car USA


In 2013, Scott Doering was appointed Vice President of Customer Service, which encompasses a primary responsibility for Volvo Car USA’s Customer Care call center operations and the parts and service business. In addition to his U.S. responsibilities,  Scott is responsible for overseeing the Customer Service functions in Canada and the Latin Markets. Prior to holding this role, Scott served as Vice President of the Northeast Region. 

Scott joined Volvo in 1993, serving in various regional specialist roles before becoming the Market Manager for the Denver market area. In 2003, Scott moved to Chicago to become the Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for Volvo’s Central Region. 

In 2007, Scott was appointed Manager of Business and Brand Strategy, responsible for aligning brand, product, network and sales functions working from the U.S. office in Irvine, California. Soon after, he was appointed Manager of Commercial Sales responsible for all non-retailer sales channels, including Volvo’s Overseas Delivery Program, rental car sales, commercial fleet sales, corporate fleet management, certified pre-owned program sales and vehicle remarketing. 

Scott is also responsible for Volvo Car USA’s museum car collection and over the years has been successful in acquiring rare and unique vehicles that have played a significant role in our company's rich history.  

Originally from Baraboo, Wisconsin, Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in geography and a professional business minor in marketing. He resides in New Jersey with his wife and two adult daughters.
