Peter Horbury, Vice President Design, Volvo Car Corporation appointed to new position within Geely Group

 

Peter Horbury, presently Vice President Design of Volvo Car Corporation is taking up a new position at Geely Group as Senior Vice President Design.

 

Peter has a long history within Volvo Car Corporation that goes back to 1991 when he became head of Design. In 2002, he took charge of Design at Ford's Premier Automotive Group which comprised Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Volvo. In 2004 he moved to Detroit as Executive Director of Design at Ford Motor Company, returning to Volvo Car Corporation in 2009 to take the reins as Vice President of Design.

Peter Horbury's successor as head of Design at Volvo Car Corporation will be subject to a later announcement.
