U.S. Sales Up 3.3 Percent; Canada Sales Up 2.7 Percent
ROCKLEIGH, N.J. (March 1, 2011) - Volvo Cars of North America, LLC, (VCNA) reported U.S. sales of 4,795 units, a 3.3 percent increase from February 2010. Year-to-date sales are up 3.4 percent over the last two months of 2010.
In Canada, Volvo sales are up 2.7 percent in February with a total of 422 vehicles sold. Year-to-date sales are up 1.5 percent in Canada.
Like the previous month in the U.S., the S60 sports sedan was the top seller in February with 1,247 units sold. Sales of the XC60 were right behind with 1,184 units sold, a 77.5% increase versus February 2010.
