U.S. Sales Up 3.6 Percent
ROCKLEIGH, N.J. (Feb. 1, 2011) - Volvo Cars of North America, LLC, (VCNA) reported U.S. sales of 4,276 units, a 3.6 percent increase from January 2010. In Canada, Volvo sales were up 0.3 percent in January with a total of 397 vehicles sold.
In the U.S., the top seller for the month of January was the all-new S60 sports sedan, with 1,042 units sold. Sales of the XC60 were also up an impressive 97.5 percent in the U.S. year-over-year with 966 units sold in January 2011 (versus 489).
