October Sales Report for Volvo Cars of North America, LLC

 

Irvine, CA – November 1, 2005 -- Volvo Cars of North America, LLC. (VCNA) announces sales of 9,931 units for October. Compared to the same period of the 2004 record year, sales are down 23 percent.

 

For the month within NAFTA, 8,706 units were sold in the United States*; 952 units were sold in Canada; and, 273 units were sold in Mexico.

 

For Volvo Cars, the all new C70 made its North American debut at the Anaheim International Auto Show during the month. Sales of the innovative retractable hardtop convertible begin in the Spring of '06.

 

VCNA, part of the Volvo Car Corporation of Gothenburg, Sweden, provides marketing, sales, parts, service, technology and training support to Volvo automobile retailers in the United States, and oversees Volvo operations in Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
