VOLVO RECORDS NINTH-STRAIGHT MONTH OF
YEAR-OVER-YEAR SALES INCREASES
U.S. sales up 38 percent for February; Canada sales up 13 percent for February

ROCKLEIGH, N.J. (March 2, 2010) - Volvo Cars of North America, LLC, (VCNA) February sales were up 38.2 percent in the United States, marking the ninth-straight month of a year-over-year increase. In the United States, VCNA sold a total of 4,641 vehicles in February. Volvo sales in Canada were up 13.2 percent in February with a total of 411 vehicles sold.
Volvo's year-to-date sales are up 39.9 percent in the United States and 24.3 percent in Canada.
