ROCKLEIGH, NJ (February 3, 2020) Volvo Car USA started 2020 strong with January sales posting five percent growth. Sales totaled 6,157 cars in January 2020 compared to 5,854 cars sold during the same period last year.
The Volvo XC40, XC60 and XC90 SUVs grew a combined 28% year-over-year; the V60 and V60 Cross Country were also well received, showing strong growth to start the year.
“The XC range continues to attract people into the Volvo family,” said Anders Gustafsson, President and CEO of Volvo Car USA. “We anticipate this momentum to continue as we ready the introduction of our first electric SUV, the XC40 Recharge, which has already garnered significant interest from customers.”
