Christopher Dauerer

Chris Dauerer was appointed Vice President, Quality, Americas in January 2017. His career with Volvo began in 1989 as an emissions engineer, and in 1992 he became a member of the technical support team. In 1998, he became responsible for managing all ports across the U.S. In 2003, Chris was appointed Vice President of Customer Service in the U.S., and later held the same position in China, eventually heading to Sweden where he was appointed VP of Customer Service, Global. Early in his career, Chris worked for other manufacturers such as BMW and Yugo and had the rare opportunity to spend two years in Serbia.
Chris attended Marist College and is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
Chris resides in South Carolina with his wife of over 35 years.
