Western Region, Volvo Car USA
Michael Cottone was appointed Vice President of Volvo Car USA’s Western Region in April 2016. He is responsible for the sales, marketing, customer service, and network development activities in the 22 states comprising the region. The 82 retailers in the West account for 26% of Volvo’s annual new car sales. Michael served as the Sales and Marketing Manager of the Western Region prior to being appointed Vice President.
Michael began his career with Volvo in 2001, and has held numerous corporate, regional and international positions which included Brand Manager for the XC60, Product Strategy Manager and Vehicle Systems & Planning Manager.
Michael holds a degree in business from The George Washington University, and an MBA from Pepperdine University. Originally from New Jersey, Michael has called California his home for the past 10 years, where he lives with his wife and two children.
