In April 2016, Michael Cottone was appointed to lead Volvo Car USA's Western Region, overseeing the sales and operations of six market areas and 82 Volvo retailers in 20 states. Cottone joined Volvo in 2001 and has held numerous corporate, regional and international positions during his tenure with the company.
Previously, Cottone was the Sales and Marketing Manager for the Western Region. Prior to that he held wide ranging roles such as brand manager XC60, product strategy manager, and vehicle systems and planning manager.
A New Jersey native, Cottone has spent the last six years in CA with his family. He holds a bachelors degree in business from The George Washington University and a MBA from Pepperdine University.
