David Thomas has been appointed Vice President for Customer Experience and Network effective from August 2015.
David is an automotive industry veteran, commencing with Mercedes-Benz UK and covering a number of roles at manufacturers and retailers before joining Volvo Cars in the UK in 1995.
Starting in a field-based roles he was then head of Network in the UK from 1999 to 2005 before moving to Russia as Managing Director where he ran the market through periods of rapid growth and financial crisis.
In 2012, David moved to Gothenburg initially as a Regional VP before taking responsibility for Global Fleet followed by another period as Managing Director of Volvo Cars Switzerland.
A native of South Wales David is married with three children and enjoys mountain and road biking, skiing and rugby.
