John Militello APPOINTED Director, Marketing Innovation and Strategy, Volvo Cars of North America

 

(ROCKLEIGH, NJ – July 1, 2015)  - Volvo Cars of North America publicly announced today that John Militello has joined the Swedish automaker as Director, Marketing Innovation and Strategy. Mr. Militello comes to Volvo from Google, where he was instrumental in creating and establishing Google’s acclaimed ad sales creative team called the ZOO. Serving as Google ZOO's Executive Creative Director for the past seven years, he led a team of creative directors and designers with great success. At Volvo, Mr. Militello will lead and develop innovative North American marketing campaigns aimed at leveraging the Volvo Cars brand and increasing sales.

Mr. Militello’s history with Volvo goes back to when he was Vice President and Creative Director at Fitzgerald Brunetti. He was previously a key player in the conception and orchestration of the highly acclaimed Volvo for Life Awards.

Mr. Militello officially joined Volvo Cars of North America on June 1, 2015 and will be based in the company’s Rockleigh, New Jersey headquarters.
