Volvo Cars Sales Report North America in November

 

IRVINE, Ca.(December 3, 2007) - Volvo Cars of North America, LLC reports sales in the United States of 8,243 units for November. Compared to the same period last year, this represents an 11 percent decrease.

 

Overall in North America (United States, Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico), sales were 8,904 units representing a decrease of 11.1 percent. Volvo Canada sales were down 15.5 percent, with 454 units sold, while Volvo sales in Mexico trailed last year by 8.4 percent, selling 207 units.

 

Volvo Cars of North America, LLC (VCNA), based in Irvine, Calif., is a subsidiary of Volvo Car Corporation of Göteborg, Sweden. VCNA provides marketing, sales, parts, service, technology and training support to Volvo automobile retailers in the United States, and oversees Volvo operations in Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
