The 2016 Volvo XC90 R-Design is the preferred performance utility of the Texas Auto Writers Association. The 316-horswpower, seven passenger SUV was recognized at the Texas Auto Roundup, an annual media event held this week at the famous Texas Motor Speedway where more than fifty journalist members of the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) evaluate the latest cars on the market. Competitors included the Tesla Model X and Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8.
