Volvo models have collected new honours in the 2021 Fleet World Great British Fleet Awards, led by the XC40 which has been crowned Best Medium SUV. The S60 saloon has also taken a share of the limelight, being highly commended in the Best Compact Executive category.

The Volvo S60 has been crowned best executive car in the 2019 Scottish Car of the Year Awards, taking the top spot just six months after its UK market launch. Its success, announced at a gala presentation in Edinburgh on Friday evening, sustains Volvo's impressive performance in the awards, with honours received every year since 2015.

Full UK pricing and specification details have been confirmed for the new S60, V60 and XC60 T8 Polestar Engineered, the plug-in hybrid high-performance halo variants of Volvo's mid-size models. These cars are the latest part of Volvo's commitment to electrification, and benefit from the expertise of the Volvo Car Group's electrified performance division, Polestar.

Volvo has extended its S60 range – the third generation of the firm's premium mid-size saloon – to incorporate further powertrain choices and equipment grades, including an all­-wheel-­drive petrol-­electric hybrid and a trim level that focuses on luxury and craftmanship.
