Volvo Tops Automotive Sector in Latest UK Customer Satisfaction Index

Volvo Car UK has been named the leading automotive brand for customer satisfaction following a survey of 26,000 UK consumers.

Volvo came a creditable fifth overall in the Top Performing Organisations nationally which were dominated by the online retail sector. The UK Customer Satisfaction Index (UKCSI) is the UK's national customer satisfaction survey. It is published twice a year and is based on the responses of 26,000 customers. Each is asked to rate organisations across various sectors on five key dimensions of customer service: professionalism, quality & efficiency, ease of doing business, problem-solving and timeliness. The Automotive Sector report also includes data on the use of branded garage services.

One in four people polled in the Automotive Sector indicated a preference for excellent service, even if this meant paying a higher price.

Nick Connor, managing director of Volvo Car UK, said: "At Volvo it's all about the customer. ‘Designed around you' is not just a strapline, but a work ethos. We care about our customers and work hard to deliver the best service from sale right through to ownership, so we're really pleased to have been voted the leading automotive brand for customer satisfaction."
