VOLVO INTRODUCES NEW BUSINESS CENTRE NETWORK

 

 

 

Volvo is upgrading and refining its dealer network by introducing selected Volvo Business Centres to provide a more comprehensive service for fleet customers.

 

Volvo recognises that there is a requirement for the entire Volvo dealer network to support corporate customers in their purchasing cycle, but in some instances an enhanced offer of specialist knowledge and understanding is an absolute pre-requisite to doing business.

 

With a dedicated business sales manager and administrator at each Centre, fleet customers will be given expert advice and support, including guidance on the various available finance options available and tailoring product choices to best suit their business needs. In addition to supporting national operators, it is expected that the Volvo Business Centres will also focus on developing local relations with SMEs.

 

John Wallace, Volvo Car UK's Corporate Sales and Leasing Manager, comments: "Independent industry surveys2 show that Volvo dealers are rated very highly for customer service by fleet customers. The new Business Centre structure aims to offer the corporate market an even higher level of support as the Volvo range and its fleet appeal continues to grow in 2007."

 

The Volvo Business Centres will be developed as "centres of excellence" for corporate customers.  A total of 19 Volvo Business Centres are now in place across the UK1 and each will operate a fleet of dedicated corporate demonstrators, updated every six months, as well as offering the successful Volvo Rental programme. 

 

With 80% of business being generated by the corporate sector, Volvo Rental has proved an essential flexible vehicle resource for fleet customers.  Fleet Managers can use it to provide specific Volvo models on a short-term basis for new employees, to fill the gap between the end of a leasing contract and delivery of a new vehicle, or just for one day when an extra vehicle is needed.
