Pole crash test with the Electric C30 in 50 km/h (30 mph). The battery, placed in the front of the car, was not affected in the crash.Volvo Cars is currently performing unique crash tests with electric cars in their crash test laboratory. Volvo will start low scale production of Electric C30 cars in the beginning of 2011 with the objective to be able to offer vehicles with no compromises on e.g. safety, comfort and driving experience.
