360°-view technology key to Volvo Car's goal of no fatal accidents by 2020

In the Non-hit Car and Truck research project an unparalleled 360° view around the car has been developed. The sensors can perceive any potentially threatening objects and the manoeuvre generator can then identify collision-free escape routes to help avoid accidents.
