Environmental Symposium in Toronto September 22, 2004 – Volvo Dialogue on Environment

 

 

Volvo Car Corporation arranges an environmental symposium for media and governmental relations in Toronto, Canada, September 22, 2004.

The symposium will cover Volvo Cars' environmental tradition, current environment offer and how we look upon the future with regard to sustainable mobility.

Håkan Jonsson, Senior Vice President Legal and Governmental Affairs, Volvo Car Corporation will be the key note speaker and give a presentation of the successful biogas project from Volvo’s hometown of Gothenburg in Sweden. Together with gas suppliers and vehicle manufacturer, the city authorities have demonstrated that co-operation on a local level can be very effective. The project model has been exported to CALSTART in California. They will also give their view on sustainable mobility and the potential of biogas on the seminar.
