Biography
Growing up in an entrepreneurial family has influenced Bengt Bancks's life considerably. His mother and father ran two businesses in parallel, one furniture store and one funeral undertaker. In that way Bengt already from childhood learned the most important concepts of business: Customers, Sales and Service. This has characterized Bengt's professional life trough out all his working years and contributed to his results oriented approach.
Right after university Bengt started his career in the automotive industry. An easy choice since Bengt is a true car enthusiast. During his 22 years in the car business he has worked with qualified engineering and has several years of senior management experience within research and development.
His background is broad and includes programme as well as line management responsibility. He is a highly appreciated leader and possesses a strong network across the company. He is also known for his process oriented way of working and ability to provide an alternative approach to quality improvements.
Bengt is married to Anna and they live with their two teenage sons in the southern part of Gothenburg. The family prefers an active leisure time filled with sailing, skiing or spending time with friends.
