Autonomous Driving Brain in Volvo's XC90 Drive Me car
The sensors and cameras on the Drive Me car generate enormous amounts of data. The Autonomous Driving Brain, processes and interprets this data with the help of highly powerful processors. This is what allows the car to decide when to accelerate, brake and steer. The image illustrates functionality of technologies that are being developed and tested by Volvo Cars. The technology is currently not available in any Volvo cars.
