It is 80 years since Volvo Cars' Finnish sales company - Oy Volvo Auto Ab - started in Finland. It was the first sales company abroad for the Swedish car manufacturer. The registration took place on 10 July 1928.Already in May Volvo Auto Oy celebrated the anniversary with the Finnish Minister of Industry Mauri Pekkarinen and Fredrik Arp, CEO and President Volvo Car Corporation met with 500 VIP guests. The new Volvo XC60 as well as the historical ÖV4 was on the show. Fredrik Arp was CEO and President, Volvo Car Corporation from 1 Oct 2005 - 30 Sept 2008.
