Volvo Car Corporation announced on 29 March 2007 that Dr. Alexander Klose will take up the newly created post as Volvo Cars China CEO, reporting directly to Mr. Fredrik Arp, President & CEO of Volvo Car Corporation. In this newly created role, Dr. Klose will manage the Marketing, Sales & Service functions and the Industrial Operations of Volvo Cars China, as well as overseeing Volvo's operations across Asia. Fredrik Arp was CEO and President, Volvo Car Corporation from 1 Oct 2005 - 30 Sept 2008.
