Volvo Cars Engine, abbreviated VCE, is a unit organised within Volvo Cars Manufacturing. VCE's main tasks are machining and assembling of engines.

 

VCE is located in three places:

  • Skövde, Sweden: Management and staff functions, machining and assembly
  • Ghent, Belgium: Dressing center
  • Bulycke, Gothenburg, Sweden: Dressing center

 

The total workforce (Jan -01) is for white collar 400, for blue collar 1.700.
