TORONTO, ON (June 3, 2013) - Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. reported 617 new vehicle sales in May, a 22.6 per cent increase over April of 2013 resulting in five straight months of increased sales. The top sellers in May were the S60 sport sedan and the XC60 premium crossover which sold 193 and 200 units respectively.
"Month over month Volvo Canada's sales are continuing to increase which show that our forward momentum continues to build and that the S60 and XC60 in particular are resonating with the consumer," says Marc Engelen, president & CEO, Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. "We expect that our refreshed model lineup this year will generate even more enthusiasm with car buyers across the country and continue the growth we have been experiencing."
