Volvo Canada announces newly appointed VP of Network Development

New position created to further strengthen organizational setup in Canada

 

TORONTO, ON (May 8, 2013) - Volvo Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Martin as VP of Network Development for Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. Martin will join the ranks of Volvo Canada at the new head office in Richmond Hill commencing May 14th, where he will work to further strengthen the organizational setup in Canada by implementing the network strategy laid out in the upcoming growth plans. He will report directly to Marc Engelen, President & CEO Volvo Cars of Canada Corp.

 

This newly created role has been established to coordinate network development activities and be the main point of contact for the headquarters in all aspects of the network agenda. Martin will lead the development of a stronger premium dealer network within all regions of the Canadian market and ensure the implementation and support of the Retail Strategy 2020 framework. This includes, but is not limited to, the conception and implementation of initiatives that refine the retail customer experience through facility management, investment and growth opportunities.

Martin holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University and has extensive industry experience from past positions at Nissan, Porsche and Suzuki.
